Your Next Stamp Color and Sketch Challenge #65 - Little Elly Congrats

Come join us at Your Next Stamp for Color and Sketch Challenge #65.
Play for a chance to win a YNS Gift Certificate.
All Details HERE
In this challenge, you can choose the sketch or the color combo or BOTH.
I chose the sketch this time and turned it 90 degrees.
I adhered the adorable yellow gingham paper from Hugs & Kisses to my card base.  Next, I die-cut my yellow panel using Stitched Rectangle Die Set then die-cut a circle.  I heat embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder then stamped my cute little elephant using Stacked With Fun. I was not getting the soft look I wanted by coloring with my Copics so I used Prismacolor colored pencils instead this time.  I definitely need more practice but got the soft look I wanted. I popped up my elly with foam tape and embellished with White Sugar and Sparkle Gumdrops

Your Next Stamp May Feature Day - Artist Inspiration

It's time for this month's Feature Day at Your Next Stamp.
The theme is Artist Inspiration.
I took inspiration from this Andy Warhol painting.
I used lighter shades of the colors.
I used the Cool Tag Four Die Set for my panels and stamped my donuts from Ellie Loves To Bake and Premium Dye Ink Black Olive.  I just did simple coloring with my Copics YG21, BG01, RV23, YR02, no shading.  I arranged all my tags with removable tape, stamped my sentiment from Insanely Happy on my MISTI, then popped each tag up with foam tape.  I accented last with White Sugar and Sparkle Gumdrops.

MOM - you are tea-riffic!

Card For Mom

I used Your Next Stamp goodies to make a Mother's Day card for my Mom.
My mom loves birds.  So I bought this set, Love Birds, just for her.  I first used the Stitched Rectangle Die Set to make a frame then I used my MISTI and Premium Dye Ink Black Olive to stamp my birds on my frame.  I colored them all up using Copic markers then stamped my sentiment on my card base lined up to fit inside the framed rectangle.  Then I popped the frame up on my card front using fun foam.

SPD May 2017 Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop

It's Sweet 2 Repeat Blog Hop Time SugarPea Fans

Now that you SugarPea Lovers have the April Release
in your hands, its time for an inspirational hop from the Design Team.

I just had to play with the new SPD Mini Muslin Bags
I stamped my images from This Little Piggy onto my bag using my MISTI and a Copic friendly ink.  I stamped each image individually and multiple times until I got the level of color I wanted, a nice deep black.

I colored in my scene I created using Copics.
First, I cut a panel of white cardstock and slipped it inside my bag before I colored.  This was to keep my markers from bleeding through to the other side of my bag.  I used Copics E000, E00, E11, R20, R22, R24, YR23, Y21, Y17, YG21, YG23, YG25, 0, BG0000, BG000, BG01.  I just dotted color, not circles like usual Copic coloring, to protect the markers from the texture of the bag. Also I recommend coloring just inside the black line to allow bleeding of the ink.

I am very impressed
with how easy it is to stamp and color on these bags.
